St. John Bosco Rehabilitation Center
Rescue / Rehabilitation / Reintegration

The Centre carries out the following interventions:
  • Social workers from the Centre identify children ages 7 to 8 for admission to the Centre's residential facility.
  • The children stay at the Centre's ten acre facility during the week.
  • The children stay with a parent or guardian in their home communities on the weekends.
  • The children receive non-formal education at the Centre to prepare them for enrollment in a formal school that is within walking distance.
  • The children are then enrolled in a local primary school.
  • Prior to the completion of primary school, each student is reintegrated full time to living with his or her family.
