During the first year of rehabilitation, the children receive informal education at the Centre to prepare them for enrollment in formal schools. During the second year of rehabilitation, the children advance to the local primary school. In order to maintain vital links with their home communities, the children spend Sundays and school term breaks with a parent or guardian.
